Lopburi - Documentary
This video is a short documentation from Lopburi - a city famous for thousands of macaques that live freely in the region.
In February 2022 - while there was still Covid - I spent 5 hours alone with the monkeys around the famous temple and was filming them just with my old iPhone 6 and iPhone 7. Afterward I edited the video in Premiere Pro. To show the true atmosphere of the place I used here the real sounds, without narrating or music.
The big Challenge was to edit the chaotic video-sequences. Since I filmed everything on my own, I was constantly interrupted by the small creatures jumping on me. Additionally, I needed to keep my phones and all belongings close to me so that the macaques wouldn't steal them :)
